Geesten - De Poezieboys, Joost Oomen & Explore The North

After the success of the summer festival hit LORCA, the Poezieboys and poet Joost Oomen are now diving into the wonderful world of inspiration. Everyone has to deal with it at some point, whether you are an accountant, a roofer or an artist. Sometimes you get, as it is so beautifully called, 'the spirit'. Artists hang their entire existence on this slippery, foggy, impossible-to-find-the-finger-behind thing. Some poets believe that inspiration comes from outside themselves – from Martians, ghosts or shadows who pass on poetry. And the poet must make poetry from that extraterrestrial language. But if the poet is a conduit, who is then responsible for what is on paper?
