Fluid figures and the island of Eros

Wessels’ multidisciplinaire dansduet Fluid Figures and Tembuyser’s post-porn popconcert Isle of Eros challenge common ideas about identity and gender. They powerfully advocate for fluidity and self-determination. Fluid Figures is a physical performance in which dance, sound and performance come together. In it, Lucinda Wessels explores identity from a queer, bicultural perspective. The dancers embody different roles and viewpoints, which creates a dynamic of contrast and connection. This invites you to let go of fixed boundaries and embrace contradictions. Isle of Eros is an erotic concert about the ‘desire for unity’. In it, the wish to merge with the other clashes with the desire to be a strong individual. After performances surrounding the singing community, such as Mementum and Mystica, Timo Tembuyser now steps forward as a soloist. A theatrical Master of Ceremonies leads you through a post-porn pop concert. This is a celebration of the wild human, queerness, sexuality and love.
