Freedom is a Dancer Vincenzo Turiano & Boys Won’t Be Boys

For Vincenzo, the love of dance began at home in the wardrobe, a playground where you could become anything. Dancing was a way to discover yourself. But in the world of classical ballet, things work very differently. Roles and costumes are made for either men or women. For Vincenzo, that increasingly felt like a suit of armour.

Vincenzo breaks free from those expectations and dances as he tears off the rigid uniform. The result is a playful, vulnerable and powerful performance about passion, resilience and the courage to choose your own path.
