Fledermaus Forever
The operetta Die Fledermaus is performed every year on New Year's Eve somewhere in Europe. In Fledermaus Forever, eight players continue the tradition indefinitely on a single evening. Just as the characters want to get to the second act party at all costs, these players want to keep playing at all costs. Using whatever resources they have, they adapt their roles, music and text material to keep the story played over and over again.
There is both something beautiful and something very sad in the urge to keep partying and playing. The work 'Die Fledermaus' embodies that urge. In short, the ideal musical play to get one step closer to the answer to the question: why keep playing, why keep partying?
