Flamingo - première IID Company
For the first time at Theater Zuidplein: a beautiful dance fairy tale by a new Rotterdams dance company, about freedom, identity and change.
In Flamingo you step into a world in which dancers transform into extraordinary, almost mythical creatures and nature is given a voice of its own. Together, they create a new reality in which everything is connected.
The performance is inspired by fairy tales, comic books and personal stories. Flamingo shows how humans and nature influence each other and touches on current themes such as climate, our living environment and responsibility.
With powerful imagery, physical dance and an imaginative atmosphere, a poetic, contemporary dance fairy tale about freedom, identity and change is created. Stimulating and with a story that lingers. Let yourself be overwhelmed!
SoundShirts for the deaf and hard of hearing
SoundShirts are available for the performance, which make both music and some dance movements tactile. For more information, please contact kassa@theaterzuidplein.nl.
