The very best, very newest proven talents in the world of cabaret are getting ready for the finalists' tour! After the Leids Cabaret Festival at the Leidse Schouwburg, the finalists are now hitting the road.

They are touring the country with the Finalist Tour, where they do a little-on-one with the final night. Rest assured, they are of course coming to Walhalla too! Come see the newest cabaret talent and discover who you think is going to be the GOAT of comedy. Onward with the goat!

Past results can, in this case, sometimes offer a guarantee for the future. So we would like to impress you with a list of former finalists: Najib Amhali, Paulien Cornelisse, Wim Helsen, Sanne Wallis de Vries, Sara Kroos, Tim Fransen, Lisa Ostermann, Kasper van der Laan, and the most recent winner, Alina Sharipova. And none other than Jochem Myjer is the ambassador. With such a list of predecessors, one thing is certain: the LCF has been a winding path to the top since 1978.

About the Leiden Cabaret Festival The Leiden Cabaret Festival has been an important festival for young and up-and-coming cabaret talent since 1978. Every year, eight participants advance to the festival after two nerve-wracking audition days. The week of the Leiden Cabaret Festival consists of two preliminary rounds, a Semi-Final with five participants, and the Final featuring the three remaining finalists. There are no fewer than three prizes to be won. The Jury Prize, the Golden Goat, is the prize that makes you the winner of the LCF, selected by the professional jury. The Podium Gift Card Audience Award is determined by the audience during the Final. The student jury awards the Student Jury Prize to the comedian whose performance best resonates with the experiences of students. Since 2023, the organization of the Leiden Cabaret Festival has been in the hands of the Leidse Schouwburg - Stadsgehoorzaal. Leiden native and comedian Jochem Myjer is the festival's ambassador.
