Eva Saladin meesters uit de barok
Masters of the Baroque
In this recital, violinist Eva Saladin focuses on the expressive power of the Baroque. With music by Veracini, Scarlatti and Geminiani, the repertoire features virtuosity and refinement going hand in hand. The Sonate accademiche by Veracini let the violin shine in theatrical gestures and graceful lines, while Scarlatti’s toccata and Geminiani’s sonata offer a lively look at the Italian Baroque tradition. A concert in which rhetoric, freedom and ornament tell the story together.
