Films in the program

In 'YES!', the Tallinn Cruise Terminal is explored, a building full of unusual angles. A poem by Joonas Veelmaa reflects on the pursuit of perfection versus the value of failure. The dance film 'YES!' celebrates alienation in a humorous way. 'Bus Station' portrays the controversial Preston Bus Station, a Brutalist structure from 1969 that served as a central transport hub. 'Verdigris' delves into the history of the Paris Metro, from Art Nouveau entrances to modern innovations, and examines the tension between fixed routes and the appropriation of the city by its users. 'Who killed the Aerotrain?' is a detective story about the French Aerotrain from the 1960s, a project that, despite its promising future, was never fully realized. The film follows enthusiasts attempting to preserve the last remaining section of monorail and an original train, with animations that bring the dream of frictionless transport to life.
