Diederik Jekel the art in artificial intelligence

the art in artificial intelligence

Will artificial intelligence (AI) be the downfall of humanity or just the solution to all the boring chores in the office? Mails that are written and answered by a program, then forwarded to your colleague's program that then answers those mails; no human being will ever get in between. No more creating your own PowerPoint or summarizing a document for your boss or knowing when a video is real or not. Soon journalists, artists and judges will also simply be replaced by AI. No more thinking and slaving away at your job because the computer can do your job better than you can. How on earth did we get into this and what is this going to mean for humanity? What is life? What is creativity? Does evolution still exist and is this the consequence?

Diederik Jekel is going to take you into a very special story in this unique theatrical performance lecture. The greatest story imaginable. That about life itself. How did life come, then how did man come and finally how did the computer come? It promises to be a wonderful evening with lots of humor and by the end of the performance you will never look at any bacteria, human or computer the same and have a good sense of how artificial intelligence works under the hood. Intended for everyone from young to old and also (especially) for people who can barely find the power button on their phones.

It changes your view forever of the thing that affects your life more than any other thing in our lives: the computer. And all in just an hour and a half! Possibly the last show you will ever see that is still written by a human being.
