During this walk you will look at your city with new eyes, led by the eccentric director of Het MOK: the Museum for Unintentional Art. Discover the beauty in the everyday and become an unintentional art curator yourself.
As part of the Walking Club of the City Readers, the idiosyncratic director of the MOK (Museum for Unintended Art) will take you on a surprising art route through the city. During this playful walk, you will learn to look at walls, lampposts, peeling paint and forgotten objects as if they were works by unknown greats. The MOK unveils sensational masterpieces by non-existent artists — and invites you to change your view of your surroundings forever. What is art, what is coincidence, and what happens when you dare to see the ordinary as special? This walk will sharpen your senses and turn every participant into a true unintended art connoisseur. An imaginative, disruptive experience full of wonder, humor and a fresh perspective on the city.
