Cross Over Hillegonda presenteert: Insomnia

Saxophonist and composer Dick de Graaf enjoys moving along the edges of jazz in his work. In his new program, Insomnia, vocal and instrumental music come together. With his trio featuring the virtuoso bassist Stefan Lievestro and the versatile drummer Jens Meijer, he showcases a joy of playing and boundless musical curiosity. For his vocal ideas, he collaborated with the promising singers Nena Jeltema and Linda Ropa. Together with the trio, they tastefully navigate Dick's hybrid arrangements and socially engaged lyrics by Judith Herzberg, Paul McCartney, and Remco Campert. Insomnia brings light into dark times.
