Cross Comix, a platform for visual storytelling, focuses on graphic novels in all their facets. Cross Comix offers a program full of talks, exhibitions, workshops, performances, and more at De Doelen, Rotterdam.
Exhibitions, drawing workshops, presentations, performances – at Cross Comix, you'll find every aspect of modern comics. You'll find dozens of creators selling unique artworks and a kiosk with zines from across Europe.
Cross Comix is the perfect festival for hands-on activities: drawing from life, making linocuts, or learning how to write your own comic book script. There are also special exhibitions, including a co-production with Poetry International and an experiment using graphic novels to educate people with low literacy.
Cross Comix can't be captured in a single word. You have to experience it to be able to recount it.
