Die Himmelfahrt Jesu, the second movement of Carl Philipp Emanuel’s oratorio, will be performed on the Sunday after Ascension Day. The cantata services last an hour and are free to attend, with a collection afterwards. Everyone can find a moment of peace in the beautiful, monumental atmosphere of the Laurenskerk.
