CONTRA (12+) Wabi Sabi Theater
CONTRA shows how people fight for a just society and how complicated that is.
In an exciting mix of dance, text and live music, you follow 5 dancers, 2 musicians and an ME-bus. They give you a glimpse into the minds and hearts of a number of officers. Because how do you uphold the law when the world is chaos? And how do you remain human in a system that is faltering?
CONTRA shows the tensions between power and duty, ideals and reality. From racism and the rules of a system, to the desire to make a difference. The performance is based on true stories, which have been collected through journalistic research and interviews with people who share these experiences. With attention to societal imperfections.
