Pull up a chair at the ONNI Community Tables. A table is more than a place to eat together. It is a space where stories are shared, where people truly meet, and where recognition emerges. With the ONNI Community Tables, we create space for the different voices within our communities. Too often, people still talk about Asian Dutch people, instead of with them. We want to hear what is on people's minds, what experiences shape us, and what people need to feel seen, heard, and connected.
Stories and connection
Around the table, we talk about diaspora, identity, and how we experience our culture in the Netherlands. You don't have to be an expert. Nor do you have to speak on behalf of an entire community. Your story, experience, or perspective is enough. With the Community Tables, we broaden our focus to the entire community. That is why everyone is welcome to sign up, regardless of gender. The more diverse the voices at the table, the richer the perspectives and the conversation.
