Woman and flesh, beauty and transience, raw and tender. In Co(te)lette Ann Van den Broek shows three female dancers in an intimate setting, in a vicious circle between desire and satisfaction.
In Co(te)lette, three female dancers are caught in a circle of desire and satisfaction, in a choreography full of rawness and tenderness. The performance, originally from 2007, is now more relevant than ever. It puts its finger on the sore spot of stagnating emancipation and the struggle for self-determination over one's own body. The original production was awarded the Swan for the most impressive dance performance of the season. In this revival, the intensity is even deeper, with performances that are uninhibited, overwhelming and razor-sharp.
