Carmen Introdans
Introdans presents a new adaptation of the classic opera story Carmen, a dance production for the whole family. Impressive, full of temperament and passion; olé! Spanish choreographer Gustavo Ramírez Sansano tells the moving story of love and the destructive power of jealousy in his Carmen.maquia.
The gentle soldier Don José falls head over heels for the fiery Carmen, but she does not want to commit herself to one man. The entire tableau of Introdans can be seen in this classic in a new guise, with a surprising twist. Everything is in black and white; from the Picasso-like decor to the beautiful costumes. The cadence of the flamenco, paso doble and the emotions give this family performance (6-106 years) extra verve. After the great success of Carmen in 2022, Introdans will reprise this full-length performance in the winter months of 2025-2026.
