What do you inherit from your father? In words, in silences, and in expectations? And what does it mean to grow up between two worlds? In Bring Me Back Home, Bright Richards and his son David explore their bond, their background, and the legacy that generations carry with them.
When Bright fled from Liberia to the Netherlands at the age of 21, he left his first twenty years of life behind him. Now that his son is reaching that same age, that story takes on a new meaning.
Using text, dance, and music, they present their personal story. In an intimate setting, you will experience how the past and present come together. An impressive evening that will make you reflect on identity, family, and the question of where you are at home.
