Big Blood

Big Blood from Maine, USA will be visiting Rotterdam on the heels of their performance at the renowned KRAAK festival in Antwerp.

Experimental gathering

Big Blood fuses raw folk and experimental rock. Dynamic intensity and haunting melodies form the foundation of their unique sound. You'll experience a musical exploration full of surprising twists and turns.

Family project

The band was founded in 2006 by Colleen Kinsella and Caleb Mulkerin. What began as a collaboration grew into a family affair with the arrival of their daughter Quinnisa. They add an extra dimension to Big Blood's performances.

Do-it-yourself mentality

Big Blood is known for their DIY approach. They release most of their albums independently, often featuring handmade artwork and packaging. Each time they take the stage, they create a constantly evolving musical experience.
