Berlinguer: La grande ambizione
In the middle of the Cold War, Enrico Berlinguer, leader of the Italiaanse Communistische Partij, dreams of a political revolution: socialism within a democracy. With a bold approach to his political opponents, he wants to change the balance of power in Italië forever.
But the closer he gets to power, the greater the resistance. In a world full of political tensions, intrigue and looming violence, Berlinguer risks everything for his ideals.
Director Andrea Segre paints a compelling portrait of a man who wanted to change history, with an impressive Elio Germano in the lead role.
With an introduction by Dante lecturer Dick van Loon
