Being John Malkovich ¹⁹⁹⁹

Frustrated puppeteer Craig Schwartz (John Cusack) discovers a strange portal in his new office that leads directly into the head of actor John Malkovich. Anyone who crawls through the portal can experience the world from Malkovich’s perspective for fifteen minutes. What begins as a bizarre discovery quickly grows into a lucrative enterprise – with far-reaching consequences for Craig, his wife Lotte, and colleague Maxine.

In Being John Malkovich, Spike Jonze turns an absurd idea into a quest for identity, desire, and control that is as witty as it is uncomfortable. What happens when you can literally crawl into someone else's head? And who are you when you don't have to be yourself for a while? An inventive, surreal, and wonderfully strange mindfuck, written by Charlie Kaufman.
