Batavierhuis x NSRT - Raquel Kurpershoek

Raquel Kurpershoek Jaldón brings with her trio, with Batavier Danny Rombout on percussion, an enchanting evening full of Latin American sounds to Batavierhuis. With her dreamy voice and poetic repertoire she has already won the National Culture Prize of Spain and has collaborated with the Orchestra of Córdoba. Her recently released new album "Bienaventurada", partly recorded in Mexico, is a musical ode to the poetry of Amado Nervo and explores loss as a source of strength and beauty. Expect an intimate live experience in which refined music, poetry and emotion come together.
