Winner of the Amsterdam Cabaret Festival in search of meaning.
Why do swallows build their nests in the mosque? What does a hedgehog have to do with FEBO walls? And can he trust that his mother has the answers? With music as a common thread, Ayoub takes you on a comforting search for meaning in a performance full of compelling stories about food, illness, and the special bond with his mother.
After graduating from agricultural college, Ayoub ended up on the cabaret stage and, with almost zero theater experience, won both the jury and audience award at the Amsterdam Cabaret Festival in 2024. The jury saw a 'good storyteller who has the courage to break through boundaries'. Shortly after, he became a volunteer at a hedgehog shelter. This is his first full-length performance in which Ayoub tries to give meaning to all the experiences he has had so far.
