In AWOL, three dancers explore what it is like to live in a society full of strict rules and fixed norms. You see three men trapped in a system. Military discipline, tight suits, camaraderie, and competition form the basis of their movements. The performance shows the tension between the individual and the group, between vulnerability and authority.

The precarious balance

What happens when you break with a structure based on power and expectations? What if a perfectly trained body begins to wobble? AWOL poses these questions through intense dance. It is a 'living painting' that powerfully challenges and reshapes traditional ideas about 'boys will be boys'. In doing so, you discover what freedom is within rigid frameworks.
