Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam

AFFR will once again present a wide selection of films and documentaries in 2024, from architect portraits to film classics, from shorts about the city to documentaries about broader social themes. Films on AFFR are about things that affect everyone: housing shortages, tourism, migration and climate change - the entire world built and designed by humans. The festival likes to show unknown perspectives and stories, thus offering a new perspective.

After fifteen editions, AFFR has grown into the largest film festival in the world about city and architecture. This year the festival will take place in the LantarenVenster and Theater Rotterdam/Schouwburg - and year-round at various locations in Rotterdam and beyond.
