ANYI - Leven in Overvloed

With this exhibition, the HER invites all Rotterdam residents to explore everything we already have over the coming months. It's an inspiring one about sharing, caring for the earth, and the wealth that arises when we pass on knowledge, craftsmanship, and traditions.

At a time when we often talk about what isn't there, this exhibition reveals the abundance that surrounds us. AYNI ("reciprocity" in Quechua) explores how we can share wealth by coming together, celebrating traditions, and continuing rituals, both with things and with stories and knowledge.

The exhibition was created by Brooderhood. The HER invites them to demonstrate how we can move from waste and squandering to care, restoration, and the passing on of craftsmanship and tradition.

Everything at AYNI begins with sustainable food, ancient knowledge, traditions, and rituals that bring people together. You can sample delicious breads from different cultures, from Italian pizza to Syrian flatbread and Turkish bread.
