Antidote - premiére Scapino Ballet Rotterdam
Three choreographies, three worlds, one energetic dance evening. Antidote is a fresh break from the digital world.
In Antidote, female makers take centre stage. They present a programme full of energy, imagination and movement. In a time when we spend a lot of time behind screens, this performance calls for us to truly meet each other again.
The dance shows how important it is to be together and make contact. With powerful movements, striking images and music, the makers take you into different worlds.
Choreographer Matilde Tommasini combines urban dance with a modern style full of power and tempo. Fay van Baar creates dreamy scenes in which dance, light and music come together. You will also see GOATS by Sarah Baltzinger and Isaiah Wilson: a playful and sharp performance about the world of today.
Antidote is a sensory and energetic evening that invites you to move, to feel and to be together. A performance that shows how dance can be a counterbalance in a busy, digital world.
