In 'Altijd Iemand' Ricky tries to get things in order by singing and telling. That is not easy. With a lot of humor she tells about the things she encounters and she sings songs that urgently need to be sung.
She is accompanied by one of the best guitarists in the Netherlands, Cok van Vuuren (yes, he is the 'co' from Ocobar!). They play songs by Ricky's heroes, songs you certainly know, but also their own songs from her latest album. An album with only positive reactions, in which everything comes together: Ricky's love for Americana but also her love for the Dutch language. 'This album is my most personal album so far', Ricky says about it. Frits Spits even came up with a special name for it: Neerlandicana. Warm and personal country and soul songs in Dutch.
