ALL TOGETHER NOW! House Crying Yellow Tears / Suze Milius
Six performers build a table on a platform on an otherwise empty stage. They set the table and sit down at it. As a spectator, you witness a world in which coming together at this table is the beginning, but withdrawing from it is central.
ALL TOGETHER NOW! zooms in on how people step out of a situation or role, and will make visible the leaving behind of something that once seemed dear, important or inevitable. Together with her performers Sara De Roo, Patricia Kargbo, Janneke Remmers, Rodrigo Baptista, Stefan Jakiela, director Suze Milius (1986) leads you through a series of deeply human scenes. Each scene shows the subtle violence that manifests itself the moment a person dares to radically break with a situation. Masks are thrown off and reality merges with fiction in a maddening world where everyone will slowly lapse into choral singing.
