A Talent For Murder
A young literary agent travels to Switzerland to persuade world-famous The Talented Mr Ripley author Patricia Highsmith (Helen Mirren) to write another book in the Ripley thriller series. His attempts, however, soon take an ominous turn when it becomes clear that the idiosyncratic writer is playing her own psychological game of chess.
This intense thriller, which takes place in a single room, is the first feature film by Dutch photographer and director Anton Corbijn (Control, The American, A Most Wanted Man) in more than ten years. The film is based on the 2014 play ‘Switzerland’ and stars Helen Mirren, Alden Ehrenreich, Olivia Cooke and Juliet Stevenson. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
