They say time flies when you're having fun. Now it's time to have even more, because we're celebrating our 2nd anniversary in a big way. We're collaborating with WORM for a block party in the streets, with an incredible programme. We're truly proud to share this event with all of you.
Our dreams are coming true! Thanks to WORM and North Sea Round Town, we're once again able to bring people together, share experiences, create new stories, and be there for one another. It's always been our main goal. We could never have imagined that this would grow into something so beautiful.
The first group confirmed is Tabanka. This Cape Verdean group from Rotterdam are very excited to take over the streets of the city and bring the beat.
Another fantastic group joining us is Berimbaudeouro. Imagine an amazing capoeira show joined by powerful drumming. Luis Firmino will also be playing his favorite instrument, while Lita Morena will make sure everyone is shaking their hips with a samba workshop. Alex Figueira is bringing a heavy bag of vinyl records, and fellow DJs Marco Stocea and DJ Tavares will also be behind the decks. To top it all off, Sai Rodrigues will be creating a live painting during the event.
The day will run from 15:00 to 23:00 outdoors as a block party. Afterwards, we'll continue the celebration indoors!. See you there!
