Vegan Food Tour expands to Rotterdam

Vegan Food Tour Netherlands organises culinary walking tours in cities such as Utrecht, Amsterdam, and now Rotterdam. From 17 August, Rotterdammers and visitors to the city alike can immerse themselves in the rich, plant-based food culture the city has to offer every Saturday afternoon. There are walking tours and cycling routes.

Founder Patrick Boone talks enthusiastically about the expansion to the city on the Maas: "Rotterdam has a unique energy that you feel as soon as you enter the city. The Rotterdammers' go-getter mentality really appealed to us; we immediately felt at home here. What surprised us most was how enthusiastic the entrepreneurs we wanted to work with were. They immediately said 'yes' and were eager to get started. That typifies the progressive and bold attitude of this city."

Surprisingly delicious

"With our Vegan Food Tours, we want to do more than just serve delicious food. We want to inspire people to think about what they eat and how it can contribute to a sustainable and animal-friendly world. The tours aim to introduce participants to veganism in a positive way and show them that plant-based food is surprisingly delicious and very diverse."

The Rotterdam Vegan Food Tour clearly stands out from the tours already offered in Amsterdam and Utrecht. Rotterdam is a city where you sense that something is about to happen - a city that is daring and ahead of the curve in terms of innovation, including in the culinary world. The local guides show participants that vibrant character and take them past surprising and progressive plant-based eateries the city has to offer.

The new tour offers participants the chance not only to enjoy delicious vegan food, but also to experience the unique atmosphere of Rotterdam. A city with a character all its own, where creativity and daring go hand in hand.

Patrick: "Our tours have already inspired thousands of people to choose a plant-based diet more consciously, and we are convinced that Rotterdam will play an important role in this."
