All The Parts for SUSAN BIJL by Scheltens & Abbenes

SUSAN BIJL has asked photographers Scheltens & Abbenes to expose the carefully thought-out design of her products - by taking them apart. The duo experiments with translating spatial objects into the flat plane. The photo series offers a rare insight into the complexity behind minimalist design. Where nothing is left to chance, and where every detail serves a purpose. It shows that every aspect of a product, down to the last thread, is the result of careful craftsmanship.
