Jeroen Veenstra

HORIZONS is a visual and musical spectacle in which the city's most beautiful places and stories come to life. In an impressive set, supported by dynamic video projections and a breathtaking lighting design, we follow various characters living together in a vibrant metropolis. The show opens Holiday on Ice 2026 in Ahoy from 2 to 4 January. Tickets are available via this link.

The cast includes more than 40 top international performers. Art riders, aerial acrobats and urban dancers perform a show full of energy, emotion and stunning choreography. Creative direction is in the hands of figure skating legend Robin Cousins and star choreographer Mark Naylor, who together ensure an immersive experience that stimulates all the senses.

Jody Bernal spins and sings live on ice in Ahoy

During the show in Rotterdam, Jody Bernal will enter the stage on 2 January at 12.30 as the very first DJ on ice. His energetic performance, combined with spectacular skating acts, will ensure a festive kick-off to the new year.

Young Dutch speed skating talents Julia van Dijk and Kahlan Gooijer also participate, on Saturday 3 January at 15.30. In collaboration with Stichting Kunstrijden Nederland (SKN), young figure skaters will stand alongside the international cast. Moreover, SKN, in collaboration with Holiday on Ice, is organising a skating clinic with former Olympian Lindsay van Zundert and Sophie Bijkerk, the Dutch star of Holiday on Ice. During this clinic, they will share their knowledge, technique and passion for the ice with young skaters.
