Imagine your notes becoming more organised and remembering what was discussed better, or being able to clearly explain a complicated idea with a few lines. With simple shapes and symbols, you make ideas visible and bring structure to information.

During this interactive workshop, you will mainly get to work yourself. You will learn how to draw almost anything with a few basic shapes, create simple figures and icons, and discover how frames, arrows, and different lettering styles help to create an overview. You will then combine these building blocks into a visual representation of an idea, process, or conversation. Everything you learn is immediately applicable to your work, your studies, or at home.

The workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to learn to work visually, whether you attend many meetings, study, give training sessions, or simply want to organise your thoughts better. Experience with drawing is not required. All materials are provided, so you can get started right away.

The workshop is given by Claudia Seubert. As a child, she couldn't be kept away from paper and pen, but as with many people, the pens gradually disappeared into the drawer. Until about six years ago, when she discovered how powerful business drawing can be. As a policy advisor, she uses it daily to make complex information insightful, support collaboration, and remember ideas better. Privately, she also regularly picks up pen and paper to organise thoughts or simply for the pleasure of drawing. She is happy to show that drawing is not an innate talent, but a practical skill that everyone can learn.
