World Sessions by Loek van den Berg

World Sessions: a series of ten unique concerts exploring different world music genres.

This edition of Worldsessions will be led by Loek van den Berg. Loek plays saxophone and Duduk, and is mainly known for the Loek van den Berg Quintet, with which he won several awards, including the Edison Jazz Award for best newcomer. Loek has always had a fascination for different musical styles besides Jazz, such as (Armenian and Iranian) folk music and flamenco. During these Worldsessions you will hear a mix of these styles.
