What if everyone could suddenly hear your thoughts? That you were standing in a classroom and everything you were thinking was being heard loudly through the hallways. In the musical performance Weirdo, you as a visitor secretly peek into the auditorium of the high school, the place of seeing and being seen.
A classroom full of discomfort
A freshman gets a growth spurt live, someone misunderstood the dress code at the school party, during a memorial service one person is not allowed to cry and at the musical the tree tries to disappear further and further into the background. But even the most popular student and the janitor turn out not to be so cool after all.
Weirdo is a musical performance with lots of humor, recognizable situations and a touch of absurdism. Think of a theater version of the film Eighth Grade, the series Sex Education, in the mix with the Inside Out films.
