Warekes Live – Afro-Latin ritmes zonder grenzen

Warekes is an international collective from The Hague, founded by Martín Mayo. With influences from Venezuelan and Afro-Cuban music, they are building a “New Folklore” full of groove, energy and connection. Batá drums, congas, cajón and vocals are complemented by clarinet, electric bass and natural sounds. Their performances are not one-way traffic, but invitations: to clap, sing and move along.
