Or are you still stuck on the question of whether those children should even come because you seriously wonder whether the world is still a welcoming place? Then come to this seriously cheerful evening to brood with Nicolaas Veul (Valse Start, 100 dagen voor de klas) Katinka Polderman, Maren Merckx (VPRO Tegenlicht: de moeder van aller mythen) and with live music by Naaz. Nicolaas Veul is a programme maker and presenter. Known for documentaries such as #followme, Pisnicht: the movie and series such as 100 days for the class. Since 2023 columnist at Vrij Nederland.

Katinka Polderman is a cabaret artist and winner of the Leiden Cabaret Festival 2005. She makes decision trees for de Volkskrant and Onze Taal, contributes to Spijkers met Koppen and writes short stories.

Pieter Hulst is a reporter and programme maker (De Proefkeuken, Keuringsdienst van Waarde). He recently released the film Over Bevolking.

Maren Merckx is a maker at Tegenlicht with a background in visual anthropology and theatre. Investigates personal and social themes, such as in The mother of all myths.

Naaz is a singer-songwriter. She broke through in 2017 with Words and won two Edisons. After a break, she returned in 2022 as an independent artist with the album Never Have I Ever.
