Verhalentour Katendrecht

The Katendrecht Story Tour takes you outside the museum, along the Kaap, and shows the neighborhood through the eyes of people who arrived here, left, and started over. The tour is guided by a storyteller from Verhalenhuis Belvédère.

About Verhalenhuis Belvédère

Verhalenhuis Belvédère is the first house for intangible heritage in the Netherlands. It is a welcoming meeting place located in the Katendrecht district of Rotterdam. Belvédère collects and shares the personal stories of all the different Rotterdammers that this metropolis is rich in.

These stories are presented in various ways, from exhibitions to city walks, but always with a personal, positive, inspiring, and connecting approach. The goal of Verhalenhuis Belvédère is to bring Rotterdammers closer together through stories that contribute to greater understanding and connection between different worlds in the city.
