Three Kilometres To The End Of The World

In Three Kilometer to the End of the World, a father fights against a corrupt system to protect his son, attacked for his sexuality, in a town full of prejudice and hidden hatred.

In a Romanian village, Dragoi, a devout family man, owes a significant debt to local gangster Zentov. When his 17-year-old son Adi is brutally attacked, Dragoi assumes it’s a warning to settle his debt. Instead, he discovers a much more poignant truth: Adi wasn’t targeted because of his father’s debts, but because of his sexual orientation.

What begins as a father trying to protect his son turns into a fight against a corrupt system intent on covering up the case. As the community turns against them, Dragoi must confront both his own beliefs and the prejudices of the village. Meanwhile, Adi struggles with the pain of betrayal—both from his attackers and a community that rejects him. The village, seemingly peaceful, reveals an undercurrent of violence, hypocrisy, and fear.

Three Kilometer to the End of the World is a haunting drama that exposes the aftermath of a homophobic hate crime and the forces that seek to hide the truth. It shows the cost of silence and the courage it takes to fight for justice in a world that turns a blind eye.
