Theatergroep Altstadt speelt 'Jayne' op Het Kasteel

A raw, witty and moving theatre experience in which Hollywood, football and Greek tragedy meet in the grandstand of Het Kasteel.

In JAYNE, Hollywood legend and sex bomb Jayne Mansfield – the most beautiful woman in the world – returns to Het Kasteel. Not to kick off, but to be heard during a theatrical mix of football myths, Greek tragedy, current madness and jazz. JAYNE is raw, witty, current and moving. An ode to the imagination, the theatre, the power to express yourself – and of course to Sparta, where the Rotterdam theatre company Altstadt draws hope from community spirit and club love. The performance will be musically framed by saxophonist Jesse Schilderink. Beforehand, there will be a three-course dinner in the Brasserie of Het Kasteel.
