Straatfotografie workshop met Esther Hovers
During this workshop at the Nederlands Fotomuseum, you will explore with photographer Esther Hovers how light, composition, colour and reflections determine what you capture on the street.
How do you take a street photo that shows more than just a random moment? During this workshop with photographer Esther Hovers, one of the participating creators of Quickscan 3. Fotografie nu, you will investigate how light, composition, colour and reflections determine what you capture on the street. You will look at the work of various photographers and discover how they capture their surroundings. Afterwards, you will get to work yourself. You will choose an existing street photo as a starting point and create your own version of it. By looking closely, imitating and experimenting, you will discover which choices a photographer makes – and how you can subsequently put your own spin on them. The workshop is aimed at young people and young adults with an interest in photography and art. Whether you are working with photography consciously for the first time or already have more experience: everyone is welcome. Practical information Guidance: Esther Hovers Number of participants: maximum 10 Price: €8 (regular) / €5 (16 to 25 years old and students)
