Squish Movie Camp returns with a new edition: an intimate film night where BIPOC makers share their stories, images and feelings. Without a fixed theme, but with a clear intention: making space for what often remains unsaid.
This edition of Squish Movie Camp brings together films by BIPOC artists who are rooted in (the vicinity of) Rotterdam. No fixed theme, but a carefully curated series of voices that speak about identity, community, loss and the silent weight of existence. These films echo experiences that are often deeply felt but rarely spoken out loud. Squish creates a safe space in which makers can show themselves, and in which viewers meet each other in shared vulnerability. Don't expect ready-made answers, but images that resonate — between words, in silences, in looks. An invitation to look together, to feel and to recognize what makes us human.
