The very first Batavierhuis jam session is upon us — and everyone is welcome, from friends to enemies, from dogs to housemates. After a smashing opening set, the session kicks off, with room for all musicians who want to play along.
The Batavierhuis jam session is the new meeting place for musicians and audiences who crave spontaneity, energy and musicality of the highest level. Led by the house band with Jens Meijer (drums), Barry Green (piano), Stefan Lievestro (double bass) and Olivier van Niekerk (guitar), the evening starts with a short set of about an hour. After that, the stage opens for a free jam in which musicians of all levels are welcome. Bring your instrument, sign up, and let yourself be heard! The session is free for those who play along. Whether you come to listen or participate: this is the session you've been waiting for.
