Portretfotografie workshop met Eva Roefs

When do you call an image a portrait? And how far can you stretch the boundaries of portrait photography? During this two-hour workshop, you will explore the different forms a portrait can take together with photographer Eva Roefs. Roefs is one of the photographers from Quickscan 3: Fotografie nu. In her series Horizontaal, she plays with existing visual traditions and our expectations of photography. Together, you will view and discuss different forms of portrait photography. You will dive into the library of the Nederlands Fotomuseum for inspiration and then get to work yourself with a photography assignment. By looking, photographing, and exchanging perspectives, you will discover how broad the concept of a portrait can actually be. The workshop is suitable for anyone aged 16 and over who is interested in photography and wants to delve deeper into portrait photography.
