Monobloco celebrates an energetic Brazilian carnival party in LantarenVenster! Expect samba, pop, funk and MPB that will make all Brazilians go wild.
Carnival! Monobloco is coming to LantarenVenster, bringing their festive Brazilian carnival music! In honor of their 25th anniversary, they present the new theme ' Nossa história de amor' (our love story).
Over the past 25 years, Monobloco has continuously renewed itself and incorporated many musical styles. From pop to funk, and from Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) to various rhythms from the northeast of Brazil. However, samba and the drums of the samba schools always remain the basis. During this period, Monobloco has trained more than 2000 drummers through their own percussion workshops in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
Live, Monobloco always makes it a vibrant (Brazilian) party. Expect an energetic mix of classics and new hits and songs that generations of Brazilians have danced to. Tonight you will experience the Brazilian carnival in Rotterdam!
