Mila & Mira - EP release show ^{+ Expo}

Mila Mira celebrates the release of their new EP Soften The Blow with a special release show in Rotterdam. The evening begins with an exhibition of analog photography, curated by Lobke Besselink & Lieve van de Zijde. By weaving analog photography into our music, a multidisciplinary evening emerges in which the themes of the EP become tangible: distance becomes space, desire becomes movement, coping becomes form. Afterwards, Mila Mira presents Soften The Blow live. The EP is about longing for intimacy and discovery, and about how fear can sometimes distort that desire into self-sabotage. About coping that feels like control but actually creates distance. And about the insight that sometimes you have to let go of something safe in order to be caught. The new music offers no solution; it allows the discomfort to exist and chooses not to run away. Expect indie pop with folk influences, multi-layered vocals, and honest songwriting.
