Mete Erker Trio ^{+ 1}

Saxophonist Mete Erker presents, with his ensemble Trio + 1, a double album exploring identity and the poetry hidden in the cracks of a 1970s Vinex neighborhood: Tilburg Noord / Tilburg B-side.

Together with three young, idiosyncratic musicians, Erker steps into a world where freedom and structure meet. The music on both albums is steeped in personal stories and improvisational freedom. The ensemble moves effortlessly between restrained passages and energetic outbursts, resulting in a dynamic and compelling whole.

With this double album, Mete Erker charts a new course, combining his rich musical experience with the fresh perspectives of his young fellow musicians.
