Matthäus-Passion in de Laurenskerk

Laurens Vocaal's St. Matthew Passion is unlike any other performance in the country: freely accessible to all ages, in a historic church, as part of a Palm Sunday service, with opportunities to sing along. This format is not new. The Laurenscantorij has been performing the St. Matthew Passion in this way for years, just as they perform Bach's cantatas during their monthly cantata services. Bach himself wrote the St. Matthew Passion for a church service. This is the only way to truly experience the music.

Part I begins at 10:30 AM, Part II at 1:30 PM. Doors open at 9:00 AM.
